Just thought I'd post, partly to justify my absence of late! And partly to share good news, which I think everyone knows!
So here's why I am so busy! Caitlin is trying so hard to finish school. At the same time we are jumping through relentless hoops for college, in the hopes of getting in before deadlines and getting her there for fall. She's not quite sure yet about even going. But we are jumping through the hoops so she'll be ready! Scholarship stuff, FAFSA stuff (still), college visits & calls, essays, finishing high school courses, community college work, stepping over stuff in a house that refuses in places to get clean and in other places to stay clean, and of course...
...trying to find time to also help four others with their school, AWANA work (failing there), Scouts work (ditto), while checking sugars, getting assorted dear people to Volleyball, college courses, doctors, you name it. Getting the dogs to the vet & groomed, although that would be in the category of things that are NOT getting done at all!
Trying to find a few hours to sleep. Not so successful there.
And the easier stuff: a new grandbaby. So thankful she's here. I plan to write a post about her soon. She and her brother are such a breath of spring in our lives. I haven't seen her much yet, but we are working on that. Hopefully tomorrow.
So there you have it. All my excuses. Okay, the ones I have time to think about. No end in sight, but if things slow down a little, maybe I'll get back to posting!

I always love you posts. I enjoyed the picture video of your new grandbaby. She is a doll! How does it feel seeing your baby with his own babies?
